Nintendo has confirmed what so many so many have been coping with the announcement of the latest entry of there much-beloved series Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo Switch. This announcement was made during Nintendo’s latest Nintendo Direct video where they dropped the trailer at the end of the presentation.
The trailer opened with a boy and girl inkling from Nintendo’s Splatoon series who are facing off against each other. The fighting soon stops as the room grows dark and we see the logo for the Super Smash Bros. series along with a silhouette of Mario and Link, in his Breath of the Wild attire, as well as silhouettes of many other characters that has left many to speculate as who they could be. The trailer ends with it showing the year of 2018, confirming that the title will be released this year, most likely in time for the Holiday season.
It makes sense for Nintendo to announce the release of Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo Switch at this time since the successful gaming platform just celebrated it’s one year anniversary and continues to keep adding strong game titles for their system.
